You can’t really get more iconic of a rock band than Guns ‘n Roses. There can’t be anyone that doesn’t know who they are. What sporting event have you been to in the last 20 years that didn’t start with “Welcome to the Jungle”? The musical is told from the perspective of the witches of the Land of Oz: Elphaba and Galinda and tells the story in which these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch of the Northwhile. The plot begins before and continues after Dorothy’s arrival from Kansas and includes references to locations, events, characters and situations from both the 1939 film.

Britney Spears tickets go on sale this week for her shows at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, NC, XL Center in Hartford CT, and RBC Center in Raleigh, NC. She’ll be appearing with Nicki Minaj, Jessie and the Toy Boys, and Nervo. What a pop packed show! Are you going to be able to go?

Britney has come so far, that many have forgotton about how far she went to hit rock bottom. I guess since the last album and tour, and Womanizer – all of that’s kind of been forgotton, and now the how “no underwear” photos are all but forgotton except on Saturday Night Live skits. Remember when she shaved her heard and many said she went insane? I guess unlike Lindsay Lohan (who’s still at bottom), now that her recent hit “Hold It Against Me” is officiall #1 on the Billboard charts, you can say she superceded her comeback!
